Birthday Block Groups
There are two birthday block groups within the Guild. One birthday block group meets at lunch and the other meets in the evening each month. At the beginning of the year each member of the group puts in a request for their birthday block. Then each member makes one of each of those blocks. On their birthday (or during the birthday month), the blocks are presented to the member.
**Daytime Group: The daytime group meets on the second Wednesday at 11:30 am for lunch. The location rotates among the members homes. The hosting member provides the meal for that meeting. Each member places a request for a "wish block" and the other members fulfill that wish. Sign up is due by November and block kits are due in December. Starts in January
**Evening Group: The evening group meets at a restaurant between 5:30-7:00 pm one night a month. The person/person's whose birthday falls in that month will choose the location. We do not have a set night of the week/month that we meet, the group normally collaborates and decides on a date each month. Sign up is due by May and block kits are due in June. Starts in July.
