2023 Guild Challenge

Each member should do a challenge quilt choosing one of the subjects below.  They have until the end of the year to finish.  Members will bring their challenge to the Christmas party where they can all be admired.  You make your challenge quilt any size you want; very small, maybe 12"x12", up to bed size.  You may make more that one if you wish.  There will be viewer's choice prizes.

America the Beautiful: This needs no explanation.  Make a picture quilt of something beautiful in our country.  Mountains, seashore, river, forest, plains, cities, towns, university, people, pets, animals, a quilt block.  The list can go on forever.

Silhouettes:  Make a picture quilt on one or more silhouettes of persons or objects of you choice.  Someone or something or pets or animals or anything you choose.  Even if it's your grandchild's hand.

Fabric. Stripes or dots:  Make an interesting quilt using only fabric with stripes and or dots.  The design can be your own or use a block pattern or make it abstract.  Your choice.
